Central Institute for Supervising and Testing in Agriculture

The Institute performs the administration and carries out some other administrative activities, expert and testing tasks and control and monitoring activities in accordance with special acts in the areas of plant variety testing, feedingstuffs, agrochemical testing of soils, soils and plant nutrition, seeds and seedlings of the grown plants, perennial plants (viniculture and hops), protection against harmful organisms and plant protection.

Central Institute for Supervising and Testing in Agriculture of the Czech Republic (ÚKZÚZ) carries out import checks in plant health sector. The compliance checks include
Compliance checking of imported consignments of plants, plant products and other regulated articles constitutes of a documentary check, a identity check, phytosanitary inspection.

Notification of goods submited to import check can only be done in form of CHED-PP of TRACES NT according to EU Regulation 2019/1715.

When importing these consignments every consignee has to be registred by the national competent authority according to article 65 EU Regulation 2016/2130 and validated in TRACES.

Entry of plants, plant products and other regulated articles on territory of European Union is allowed after undergoing compliance checking through the endorsed border control posts. Points of entry are ports for shipping, customs departments of border EU member states for land transportation and selected airports in EU for aerial transportation:
