The Ministry of Agriculture’s priorities are protection against floods and drought and support for the development of the water supply and sewerage systems. Water flows are taken care of by means of the stateowned enterprises, Vltava River Board, Elbe River Board, Morava River Board, Odra River Board, Ohře River Board and Lesy ČR (Forests of the Czech Republic). We are strengthening the safety of water flows and waterworks, we support the cleaning of ponds, and we provide the main supervision in the field of water supply and sewerage systems for public use with regard to protecting consumers and the long-term sustainability of the sector.
