Some imported commodities were found to use wood packing posing higher risk of pest introduction. The goods listed in Regulation (EU) 2021/127 has to be subjected mandatory phytosanitary import check when entering the EU territory at EU border. The obilgation applies on the shipments from Belarus, China and India of:
- Stone products
- Aluminium plates, sheets and strip
- Fuel wood and imported consignments of wooden packing
These consignments imported under CN codes: 2514, 2515, 2516, 4401, 4415, 6801, 6802, 6803, 6907, 7606 have to be subjected to import check by phytosanitary competent authority at the border.
Notification by operator is obligatory via TRACES.
