National Rural Network
The Network is established by the Ministry of Agriculture of the CR. The Network serves as a communication platform for the Rural Development Programme and promotes not only the activities of the MoA, but also those actively involved in the rural area and agriculture, both domestically and abroad.
The National Rural Network creates conditions for meetings of rural development stakeholders and supports the acquisition of knowledge and skills for further effective enhancement of the quality of life of rural population. Below you can see some examples of NRN national events.
One of the fundamental principles behind the functioning of the National Rural Network (NRN) is the creation of a broad platform for exchange of opinions and experience between all the stakeholders involved in rural development. The NRN is open to all interested parties and currently cooperates with more than 600 members from among state institutions and non-governmental organizations at central to regional level. This text provides more details about 2 most significant partners of NRN from the group of non-governmental organizations devoted to matters of rural development.
The National Rural Network presents a publication with successful projects of the Rural Development Programme.
In accordance with Commission Regulation (EC) No 1974/2006 of 15 December 2006 laying down detailed rules for the application of Council Regulation (EC) No 1698/2005 on support for rural development by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD), the Czech Republic is just like the other EU Member States obliged to establish the National rural network (hereinafter referred to as the Network) by 31 December 2008 at the latest. The Network is established by the Ministry of Agriculture of the CR.
