Foreign Relations
The Czech Republic became a member of the European Union on 1st May 2004. Since then the majority of national agricultural legislation is based on European regulations and directives. Therefore, Ministry of Agriculture actively participates in negotiations on the relevant legislation within the European institutions.
This section contains the most important documents concerning the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) and Common Fisheries Policy (CFP) as well as information about Presidencies in the Council of the EU and audit and control missions carried out by the EU institutions in the Czech Republic.
